Controlling the sintering process: a guarantee of quality

Sintering is a process which involves heating an unfired ceramic part without raising its temperature to its melting point. The heat welds the granules together and creates cohesion within the part.

Because we develop our own formulations, we can control the size of the granules and the density of the material.

Perfect control of the sintering process

We tailor the sintering cycle variables to the specific formulation developed, so that we can achieve:

  • uniform shrinkage, perfectly repeatable and reproducible
  • specific, uniform, repeatable and reproducible colours
  • defect-free materials (no cracks, specified density, controlled porosity, etc.)
  • a component which is chemically and thermally inert.

Sintering is a key stage in the process of producing a high quality ceramic part which meets yours expectations.
